Sound
on film is considered to be there because as an audience we expect and almost
demand it. What if we took that sound away, removed the composed piece of
music how would that effect the film?
This
project a comparative study between The Coen brothers Fargo and No country
for old men. Investigating how sound design can drive narrative and lead
human perception, leading to a greater understanding of its role within film.
